GMR Gujarat Solar Power Limited (GGSPL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of GMR Energy Limited and operates a 25 MW solar power plant at Charanka Solar Park in Patan district, Gujarat . The project was commissioned in 2012 under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
The asset supplies renewable energy to the state grid under a long-term offtake arrangement and is part of one of India’s early large-scale solar developments .
